HAAi releases new song "Purple Jelly Disc (feat. Obi Franky)," announces U.S. tour
HAAi has unveiled their collaboration with singer Obi Franky titled “Purple Jelly Disc.”
Released today, the single comes with a music video directed by The Horror’s Tom Furse, which can be seen below. “Purple Jelly Disc” is the second single from HAAi’s forthcoming studio album Baby, We’re Ascending. The artist said this about the new single/video:
“'Purple Jelly Disc’, the second single off my debut album, ‘Baby, We’re Ascending’. This features my dear friend and collaborator Obi Franky on vocals. We had such a special time working on this together. She is such a force in the studio, I can’t wait for the world to hear this live and also to hear what obi has been writing for herself.
This track is accompanied by a mind melting ai animated video by friend, collaborator and ai wizard Tom Furse who’s been working visually across this album with me.”
Pre-orders for the 13-track album, which comes out on May 27 on Mute, can be made here. HAAi will promote the record with a slew of performances in Europe and their newly announced debut U.S. tour, which features a performance at Detroit’s Movement Festival.
