Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer drops, game arrives in 2025
The trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 has arrived one day earlier today.
The 90-second trailer, which can be seen below, showcases a return to Vice City with a strong emphasis on social media. Fans previously traversed through Vice City in 2006’s Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories. The GTA 6 trailer was originally supposed to go live tomorrow (December 5) at 9 a.m. EST, but an unfortunate leak forced Rockstar Games to officially drop it today.
Unfortunately, fans will have to wait a while longer to get their hands on GTA 6. The game is slated for a 2025 release on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. GTA 6 reportedly went in development back in 2014.
GTA 6 follows 2013’s Grand Theft Auto 5, which made $8 billion in worldwide revenue and sold 190 million copies. Fortunately, GTA fans have GTA Online to keep them busy until the release of GTA 6.
