Rising guitarist/songwriter Grace Bowers has unveiled a reimagined cover of Sly and The Family Stone's "Dance To The Music" today.

The cover, which can be heard here, stems from Bowers’ debut album Wine On Venus. The nine-track album will be released on August 9; pre-orders/pre-saves for the release can be made here.

Bowers said this about the cover:

“‘Dance To The Music’ is The Hodge Podge’s take on Sly & The Family Stone. While keeping the spirit of the original, but with a modern twist. Recorded live in the room, you can hear the amount of fun we had while making this song!!”

Bowers has a slew of festival appearances in the following weeks and shows supporting Slash and The Red Clay Strays. The artist will also perform at the Grand Ole Opry on their 18th birthday. Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now here.
