German alternative rock band Letters Sent Home have unveiled a new version of their latest single "Request Denied" today.

“Request Denied (Alt. Version)" gives the original upbeat tune a more somber feel. Guitarist Robin Werner said this about the new version, which can be heard below:

“When writing ‘Request Denied’, we loved that the theme of the song and the catchy, happy vibe contradicted each other and enjoyed the irony behind it. But we also felt the need to create a version of the song that complements the subject of depression, so we decided to write an alternative version of ‘Request Denied’, which is a totally different vibe but we love it just as much.”

“Request Denied” is Letters Sent Home’s first single with Sharptone Records. More music will be unveiled soon. Letters Sent Home will have a slew of performances in Germany in the following months. Tour dates can be seen below.
