The nominees for this year’s Games for Change Awards have been announced today.

Games for Change President ​Susanna Pollack said this about this year’s nominees, which can be seen below:

"The overwhelming response to this year's Games for Change Awards is a testament to the incredible potential of games and immersive experiences to make a difference in the world. From the record-breaking number of submissions to the diverse range of countries represented, it's clear that game developers are increasingly recognizing the power of their medium to tackle pressing social issues and create meaningful change."

This year’s ceremony takes place at the Games for Change Festival in NYC on June 27. The ceremony will be hosted by Anjali Bhimani, who is best known for their work in Overwatch, Apex Legends, and Critical Role’s Candela Obscura. Tickets for the two-day event can be purchased here.
