FPS game Crime Boss: Rockay City stars Michael Madsen, Chuck Norris, and Vanilla Ice
At last night’s Game Awards, video game publisher 505 Games showed off one of 2023’s most intriguing titles.
Crime Boss: Rockay City, which is being developed by Ingame Studios, throws the player into Rockay City where crime runs free. As Travis Baker, the player must take over the underground crime scene. The game allows players to take on the role in a single-player campaign or allow them to team up with friends in co-op multiplayer.
For this game, a slew of diverse talent will make the jump to the video game world. Baker will be portrayed by Michael Madsen, who is best known for their work in Reservoir Dogs, Wyatt Earp, and Donnie Brasco. Madsen isn’t the only ‘90s-era star to appear in the game; Chuck Norris, Danny Trejo, Kim Basinger, Danny Glover, Michael Rooker, and Vanilla Ice will appear in the game. The title also features Damion Poiter, who is known for their varying work in The Avengers, Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise, and The Flash.
Neil Ralley, President of 505 Games said this about the title:
“The sheer volume of talent involved both in front of camera, and behind the development of Crime Boss is hugely exciting for 505 to be part of. We’re thrilled to bring this truly exceptional organised crime game to gamers globally.”
Crime Boss: Rockay City will be released on March 28th exclusively on the Epic Games Store. Console versions (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S) will drop later in the year. Pre-orders for the game can be made here. Until December 10, a 40% pre-purchase discount will be added to the purchase. After December 10, players can grab a 20% discount until the game’s launch.
