Iconic filmmaker John Carpenter is heading to New York Comic Con for a special spotlight panel. Fans will be able to ask Carpenter questions about their illustrious career working on films such as Halloween, The Fog, Christine, and Big Trouble in Little China. Next year, Carpenter will unveil their new video game John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando, which will be released via Saber Interactive on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.

Digimon fans can get an early look at the new film Digimon Adventure 02 THE BEGINNING at the Digimon Adventure - Past & Future panel. The panel will also feature a Q&A session with Digimon Adventure series producer Hiromi Seki. Assassin’s Creed is making the jump to WEBTOON with Assassin’s Creed: Forgotten Temple, which follows Edward Kenway in an original adventure. WEBTOON and Ubisoft will join forces to discuss more about this exciting new series this Saturday. Last week, Assassin's Creed Mirage was released on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The entire Assassin's Creed franchise has sold over 200 million copies worldwide.

Kid Cudi Comes to NYCC to Make a Big Announcement

Grammy-winning hip hop artist Kid Cudi is coming to New York Comic Con for a special announcement. Cudi's last studio album Entergalactic came with an accompanying animated special on Netflix, which recently gained an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Animated Program. Cudi mentioned working on another animated project last year, so their NYCC appearance could be its official reveal. Next year, the artist will unveil their ninth studio album Insano, which will be Cudi's last release with Republic Records.

Eragon 20TH Anniversary Celebration with Christopher Paolini

Fantasy novel Eragon turns 25 this year, and author Christopher Paolini will be on hand to discuss everything about the novel, including working on the book at the young age of 15. Eragon kickstarted the Inheritance Cycle book series, which sold over 33 million copies worldwide. Eragon get the live action film treatment in 2006 starring Ed Speleers, Jeremy Irons, Djimon Hounsou, and Rachel Weisz.
