If you were hoping to finally see the return of Firefly Music Festival, you’ll have to wait a while longer.

Yesterday, it was revealed the festival won’t return this year. The festival skipped last year with plans to return in 2024.

An official statement reads:

Firefly Music Festival will not return in 2024. We look forward to powering Firefly's lights back on someday when the timing is right, but until then, The Woodlands will continue to host new music events for years to come. Keep on dancing, fam.

Launched in 2012, the Firefly Music Festival delivered a slew of memorable live performances at The Woodlands of Dover Motor Speedway in Dover, Delaware. Some acts who’ve performed at the popular music festival include Modest Mouse, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Outkast, Paul McCartney, and Bob Dylan.
