Enter Shikari have surprised fans with the release of Moratorium (Broadcasts From The Interruption).

The compilation features performances taken from various livestreams done since lockdown began. Vocalist Rou Reynolds said this about the surprise release:

"With no live shows, and no real contact with the rest of the band, it was nice to at least be able to do some remote sessions together. It was also interesting to develop acoustic and alternative versions of some of the new tracks. These performances went some way to filling the gaping hole in our lives!”

Aside from live performances, the compilation also features a reworked version of "The Dreamer’s Hotel" with special guests Sofia Session Orchestra.

Moratorium (Broadcasts From The Interruption) is available on streaming services right now. On July 16, a limited-edition physical release of the record will be released along with a special 2-disc edition of the band’s latest album Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible. On that same day, Reynolds will unveil A Treatise on Possibility: Perspectives on Humanity Hereafter, which is a companion guide to lyrics featured on the album. Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible, which was our top album of 2020, debuted at number two on the U.K. Albums chart. The band will begin touring in support of the album later this year. Dinosaur Pile-Up and Nova Twins will join them as support on the U.K. dates. Tour dates can be seen below.
