Denver alt-punk band HRZN announce spring 2023 West Coast tour
Denver alt-punk band HRZN will pay the West Coast a visit next month for their first-ever tour.
Announced yesterday, the trek kicks off on May 25 at The Black Sheep in Colorado Springs, and it’ll conclude on June 3 with a stop at Salt Lake City’s Beehive.
Since forming in 2020 under the previous name Gunpoint Alibi, HRZN have been gaining momentum in the Denver scene with shows alongside The Orphan The Poet and Archers. Vocalist Morgan Elizabeth said this about finally being on the road:
“We're so unbelievably ecstatic to be able to have the opportunity to connect with fans who we've maybe only spoken to online, or haven't had a chance to speak to at all yet.
Growing up, we didn't get to see a lot of minorities in our genre, ranging from people of color, members of the LGBTQIA+ community or those who were built differently outside of the typical societal beauty standards. It’s always felt impossible for us to be doing what we're doing, and despite all obstacles we look forward to spreading this hope and connecting with others to foster an inclusive community everywhere we go.”
