Deadguy's Killing Music documentary premiering tomorrow night in Philadelphia
Influential New Jersey metalcore group Deadguy will premiere their Killing Music documentary in Philadelphia tomorrow night (September 24).
The event, which is being presented by Cinepunx, will take place at Underground Arts. Prior to the screening, there will be a special Broken Goblet tapping event for DEADGUY Makeshift Atomsmasher Beer. A Q&A session with members of the band and filmmakers will take place after the documentary ends.
Killing Music follows the short-lived career for the group, whose sole studio album Fixation on a Co-Worker became an impactful album in the metalcore scene. Tickets for the 21+ event can be purchased here. A trailer for the documentary can be seen below.
On Saturday, the Fixation on a Co-Worker lineup will be performing at the sold-out Philadelphia installment of Decibel Magazine’s Metal & Beer Fest, which also includes Napalm Death, Converge, and Municipal Waste. Deadguy will perform at the Los Angeles' installment of Decibel Magazine’s festival on Saturday, December 11 at The Belasco along with Cave In, Hate Eternal, Ghoul, Crypt Sermon, ACxDC, and Spiritworld.
