Critical Role drops surprise 'Winter’s Crest' holiday album EP
Critters worldwide will have some new tunes to play around the holidays this year.
Today, Critical Role unveiled their surprise holiday album EP Winter’s Crest. The four-song release is based in the vast Critical Role universe with cast members delivering holiday tunes as their beloved characters. A description of the release, which is out on digital services right now via Scanlan Shorthalt Music, reads:
Winter’s Crest is a beloved holiday of Tal’Dorei (a continent in Exandria (the world of Critical Role) and the setting for Campaign 1, Vox Machina) commemorating the alliance of Kraghammer, Syngorn, and the Ashari as they bested the terrible ice elemental Errevon the Rimelord. Winter’s Crest reminds us to celebrate community and life during the darkest days of the year. Whether you celebrate like those in Tal’Dorei (with colorful lights and streamers, feasts and games) or whether you have your own traditions to mark the end of the year, we hope these songs ring in a wondrous new year for you and your loved ones.
Recently, Critical Role announced a slew of live shows across the United States and Australia set for next year.
