Care Bears will make the jump to consoles and PC for the first time since 2005 this fall.

Revealed today, Care Bears: To The Rescue will be released on PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation. A release date and price will be revealed soon. For now, a new announcement trailer can be seen below.

A synopsis for Care Bears: To The Rescue reads:

The Silver Lining is in trouble! Bluster has been busy nurturing a giant Bad Seed full of bad energy. It is now on the loose, and its bad vines are wreaking havoc! The Care Bears are facing one of their biggest challenges so far! They will need to team up and gather lots of Caring Energy in order to restore peace and happiness. Will their efforts be enough to overcome Bluster’s giant Bad Seed?  

Care Bears™: To The Rescue is a platformer game set in the Care Bears universe featuring 30 levels across five unique worlds! Experience the game in singleplayer mode or up to 4 players in local co-op mode!  

Collect stars, avoid obstacles, retrieve collectible stickers, and restore cheerfulness through the power of your belly badge. Gather enough Caring Energy to rescue the Silver Lining!  

2005 was last time anyone saw a Care Bears game on consoles and PC. That year, Care Bears: Care Quest landed on the Game Boy Advance while Care Bears: Catch a Star! made its way onto PC. Starting in 2013, Care Bears has been on the mobile games route. The last Care Bears mobile games were released in 2017.
