Black Wing (Dan Barrett) announces new album 'No Moon,' releases new track "Bollywood Apologetics"
Black Wing, which is the electronic solo project of Dan Barrett (Have A Nice Life, Giles Corey), has announced their new album No Moon.
Revealed today, the nine-track album will be released on December 11th via The Flenser. The album’s opening track titled “Bollywood Apologetics” can be heard below. The album was written over the past few years, but quarantine sped up the process. When it comes to the record, Barrett said:
“Quarantine was profoundly isolating. With writing this record, more than anything I just wanted to prove to myself that I could make something out of it. That ended up being a lot of songs about feeling isolated, a lot of ‘trapped in my own head’ moments. I think that was a lot of people’s experience as well.”
