Berlin-based indie rock band Meagre Martin have released their new single “Mountain” today.

The band, whose members hail from the United States, said this about the new track:

"'Mountain‘ is a song in remembrance of things that were once so familiar but whose significance has become unrecognizable, and that familiarity is distant and faded. Landmarks that were once crucial in one's life no longer hold the same emotional ties. The best word to describe this song is 'Saudade'."

“Mountain” stems from Meagre Martin’s forthcoming debut album Gut Punch, which will be released on November 10 via Mansions & Millions. Pre-orders for the 11-track album can be made here.
