AVICII Invector: Encore Edition will make its way to VR later this month.

Announced today, the music title, which celebrates the life of late music producer Tim Bergling aka Avicii, will make its way to Meta Quest 2 on January 27. The title features 35 songs from Avicii’s catalog, including “Wake Me Up,” "Seek Bromance,” and "SOS.” All music royalties from the game will go towards the Tim Bergling Foundation

Hello There Games CEO Oskar Eklund said this about Avicii interest in VR technology:

“When Tim and I first started talking about Invector, he was actually sent an early prototype VR headset. He was fascinated by the technology and the opportunities it created. Working with Tim’s father, Klas, to finish this project has been an emotional process for the whole team. We still grieve for Tim, but we came together knowing this was a project he was very passionate about and hope his fans can continue to celebrate and remember AVICII for the light that he was.”
