Avail reissue debut album 'Satiate,' announce trek with Hot Water Music and Be Well

Beloved punk outfit Avail have given fans an early Christmas gift by reissuing their debut album Satiate today.

Released in 1992, the 12-track debut album was their first release with Lookout Records, who would go on to release four studio albums and one live album with the band. The album is on vinyl for the first time in 15 years here, and it’s available on streaming services.

Vocalist Tim Barry said this about the reissue:

"Satiate is the missing link in many peoples AVAIL record collections. Although an artifact that displays the band just beginning to find our own way, certain songs show a clear path to where we were heading. This repress is for the collectors, the folks who stuck by us from the start, and for new folks wanting to listen to some old music."

Avail also announced a three-date tour alongside Hot Water Music and Be Well, which takes place in late February. Tickets for the tour go on sale to the general public this Friday (December 17) at 10 a.m. EST. Tour dates can be seen below.
