Arizona shoegaze band Glixen has unveiled a new single today to coincide with their forthcoming U.S. tour.

“foreversoon” comes with a music video directed by Joriel Cura and filmed in a warehouse in Arizona. Vocalist Aislinn Ritchie said this about the song:

“‘foreversoon’ represents blissful moments of new love and intimacy. The song harnesses melancholy chords, layered with fuzzy red melodies and gliding guitars that pull you in deeper. I wanted my lyrics to feel like a conversation that expresses my infatuation and sensuality. Time is relentless and memories are fleeting, this song encapsulates those emotions forever.”

“foreversoon" stems from the band’s forthcoming sophomore EP, which will arrive later this year. Last summer, the band delivered their debut EP She Only Said.

Today, Glixen will kick off their U.S. tour at The Handlebar in Pensacola. The trek will include dates supporting Interpol, Softcult, Glitterer, and fish narc as well as headlining shows and appearances at festivals such as SXSW and Treefort Music Fest.
