Amy Helm announces 'What the Flood Leaves Behind' record release show at City Winery NYC
Singer-songwriter Amy helm will celebrate the release of their new studio album What the Flood Leaves Behind with a special performance in New York City.
The artist will have a record release show at City Winery NYC on Thursday, June 24. Tickets for the show are on sale right here. Doors will open at 6 p.m. EST with the show starting at 8 p.m. EST. All guests are required to either be fully vaccinated or have received a negative Covid test (PCR or Rapid Antigen Test).
Pre-saves for What the Flood Leaves Behind, which arrives on June 18th via Renew Records/BMG, can be made here. The album was produced by Josh Kaufman (Taylor Swift, Bob Weir, Bonny Light Horseman). Kaufman said this about working on the record:
“We tried to make it about her voice and about the musicians responding to her and not the other way around. I wanted her to feel like she had that freedom to be herself on the recordings and she just filled up the whole room. Her singing was coming from this deeply rooted place of family and music and wanting to convey a beauty.”
What the Flood Leaves Behind is the follow-up to Helm’s 2018 studio album This Too Shall Light.
