American-German indie rock band Seven Purple Tigers release new single “Clarity”
American-German indie rock band Seven Purple Tigers have unveiled their new single “Clarity” today.
The song stems from their forthcoming EP Daydream Echo Chamber, which will be released on November 4. When it comes to their new song, Austin said:
“After a difficult introspective period, "Clarity" conveys the sense of lightness and clarity that one finally achieves. Phil and I [Austin] had both been through such a period when we wrote the lyrics to the song, so it became its focus. In the chorus and bridge, the tinges of melancholy reflect on the work done to reach a new understanding of oneself as well as the “now what?” feeling that comes from it."
An accompanying music video, which can be seen below, was directed and produced by Brandon Bernath with cinematography from Robin Webster. The act said this about working on the visual:
“We traveled to sunny California earlier this year to team up with creative powerhouse and incredible artist Brandon Bernath! The result is the most colorful and fun video we could've only dreamed about! The cherry on top are the amazing outfits designed and provided by legendary designer Gary Allen!
We hope you enjoy the positive vibes as well as the stunning performances of this talented cast. Everyone danced their heart out or painted the most stunning makeup! We were lucky to find new friends in these truly magical and unique people! Making this video was an unforgettable experience!”
“Clarity” is available on digital platforms right now.
