The Play! Pokémon Regional and International Championships will return to its normal state next year.

Announced today, the Pokémon Company International have announced dates for the 2022 Pokémon Europe and North America International Championships and its accompanying special events. The 2022 Pokémon World Championships will take place next August in London. Newly announced dates can be seen below. More regional and special events may be added soon.

Next year’s installment will feature Pokémon GO tournaments for the first time ever. Pokémon GO competitions will be open to Senior and Masters age divisions and will follow the Great League format. Players will also be able to compete in Pokémon Trading Card Game, Pokémon video games, and Pokkén Tournament DX tournaments.
